In a make-up tattoo, the pigment is only applied to the top layer of the skin, whereas a traditional tattoo goes much deeper. The goal is not a lifelong pattern, but a natural, subtle fading effect that can be adjusted and refreshed over time.
On average, you can expect a 2.5-3 hour treatment. This includes consultation, planning, anaesthesia and the tattoo itself. The correction session is shorter than this.
An anaesthetic is used continuously during the treatment, so most people will only feel mild discomfort. It is more like a tight, scratching sensation, not a sharp pain.
Under proper hygienic conditions and with quality equipment, make-up tattooing is completely safe. Risks such as allergic reaction or inadequate healing can be minimised with prior consultation and aftercare instructions.
The pigments fade gradually and evenly. This is a natural process that allows the tattoo to be adjusted and updated over time.
Skin type (e.g. oily skin fades more quickly), sun protection, lifestyle, aftercare and the skincare products used (acids, retinol) all affect pigment durability.
The first correction is due between 6-10 weeks, this is part of the treatment. Subsequent touch-ups are usually recommended every 1.5 to 2 years to maintain the natural colour and shape.
Eyebrow styling is a complex service that includes design, colouring and lamination of the eyebrow fibres. The aim is to achieve a naturally neat, groomed and harmonious effect that enhances the character of the face.
The effects of lamination usually last 4-6 weeks, varying from person to person. Durability is also greatly affected by skin type, hair texture and home care.
Avoid contact with water, sauna and make-up for 24 hours after treatment. Afterwards, it is recommended to comb the strands occasionally and apply a moisturising oil.
Styling is a complex service: it includes not only shaping, but also lamination, colouring and precise alignment - all tailored to the proportions and character of the face.
No, the treatment is completely painless, and many guests find it relaxing.
Eyebrow lamination can be repeated every month or up to every 6 weeks to allow the hairs to regenerate properly between treatments. With regular care and attention to skin type, a neat and tidy appearance can be maintained over the long term.
For each guest we do a personalised design. The shape is tailored to facial character, bone structure and symmetry, and the colour is chosen based on skin tone, hair colour and individual preference.
I will send the exact preparation instructions to all my guests in advance.
The colour may be darker in the first few days, followed by subtle peeling and fading. The final result takes about 4-6 weeks. Then comes the correction session.
No make-up is recommended for the area for two weeks. The other areas can of course be made up, but hygiene and disinfection are important.
Within 2 weeks, avoid anything that involves excessive sweating, immersion in water or UV radiation (sports, sauna, swimming pool, sunbathing). This will help the pigment to absorb properly.
Yes, for example, pregnancy, breastfeeding, cheloid predisposition, active dermatitis, taking certain medications and autoimmune diseases may be exclusion factors. We will discuss everything in advance.
It is possible, but it depends on the condition of the previous work - dark, blurred or badly coloured tattoos may require removal (laser) first, or a special corrective technique. A prior consultation is required.
Yes, you can change the colour, shape or intensity of the correction. For more serious problems, there are also removal options (e.g. laser), but my aim is always to make sure you leave satisfied the first time.
I use Rosa's premium pigments, which are REACH compliant, vegan and safe. They contain no heavy metals and fade evenly over the years.
The treatment includes a correction session, which should be taken within 1-3 months. The final shape and colour will also depend on your skin's reaction. My goal is to always achieve the best results together.
Depending on the technique and the existence of any previous tattoos, prices may vary. The price of eyebrow tattooing includes aftercare and a correction session. For more information on current prices, please see [Prices].
